| Bio: | *Created for the CSI role playing community ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} csitricityslash*I do not own Sheldon Hawkes nor any part of the CSI franchise. I'm just pretending to be Hawkes because he's so smart and awesome. My name is Sheldon Hawkes; I am currently 35 years of age. I work as a crime scene investigator for the great state of New York, more specifically New York City. I live in an apartment in Manhattan that I don't see as much as I should due to my hectic work shedule. I am the only child of Richard and Virginia Hawkes of Harlem, NY. My parents own the apartment building I grew up in, serving as landlord and handyman. They are amazing people who encouraged me without reservation and fostered a love of learning in me at an early age. My father always told me that I got my hunger for knowledge from my mother, who learned how to manage her own property and be successful at it when I was just a baby. Because of her, I did very well in school, graduating from high school early and ending up graduating college at the ripe old age of 18. Medical school was next and by the time I was 24, I was certified to perform surgery in the state of New York. My career as a surgeon lasted just over a year before I decided to work as a coroner. Being a CSI became increasingly appealing to me so after about 8 years in the morgue, I put in my appication to join Mac Taylor's team. I've been working with them for a couple of years now and I have to say that I enjoy it. There is a certain brand of satisfaction that comes with finding out the answers to the questions that arise. To take the case from beginning to end so that you can help to find some sort of peace for the victim. I suppose you want the sordid information as well. I'm single, mostly because of my work schedule, and I go on dates every now and then. I find it a bit hard to meet someone in my line of work unless they 1) work with me, 2) are a witness to a crime, 3) are related to the victim of a crime or 4) are suspected of a crime. Surely you can see where I might find a problem in those situations. Thank you for visiting my journal. | |||||
